LG Nexus 5X Finally Available – Today’s Key Markets

All this summer we’ve heard rumors regarding the upcoming Nexus devices. Finally, on September 29, 2015, the event happened and Google has unveiled its new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P devices.

The Nexus 5X was manufactured by LG and it was somehow a successor to the famous Nexus 5 flagship, while the Nexus 6P was manufactured by Huawei and it has better specs than its “little brother”. However, today we’re going to talk about the Nexus 5X by LG.

Nexus 5X: Specifications

The Nexus 5X is fitted with a 5.2-inch display that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 (424ppi) and its surface is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device comes with a primary camera of 12.3MP that features dual-led flash, laser autofocus and it is found on the rear side of the device. On its front side was placed a secondary camera of 5MP, which can be used for taking selfies or for making Video Calls.

The device supports an internal memory of either 16GB or 32GB and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa core processor (consisting two Cortex A57 cores and four Cortex A53 cores), which is backed by an Adreno 418 graphics card (GPU).

The device is held “alive” by a non-removable battery of 2700 mAh, which should last an entire day while chatting with your friends on Facebook or when browsing the internet.

When it comes to the operating system, both the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which brought new features such as Doze, app permissions and many more.

Nexus 5X Will Finally Hit The Retail Stores

According to Juno Cho, the president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications, the Nexus 5X is the best Nexus device ever created by the South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation.

In concordance with the latest news, the Nexus 5X will be released by major retailers and carriers from the US, UK, Ireland, India, Korea, Japan and Canada. After that, the device will also hit other markets in countries that are located in Asia, Latin America and Europe in the upcoming weeks.

We agree that the Nexus 6 was not as popular as the Nexus 5, but this happened mostly because of the oversized screen that the 2014 model came with. It seems that there are people who still prefer to stick to the devices that have a screen of up to 5.5-inch. Until now, we’ve seen a lot of Nexus fans that are quite happy with the features that the Nexus 5X device comes with and we’re sure that this new smartphone will be at least as popular as the Nexus 5.
