Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro and ZUK Z2 To Get Android 7.0 Nougat Starting Next Week

Great news for all ZUK Z2 and Z2 Pro! Lenovo ZUK President has confirmed that its duo ZUK Z2 and the ZUK Z2 Pro flagship will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update starting from next week and the OTA update should will arrive with ZUI 2.5 overlay. ZUI 2.5 is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, which includes a plenty of improvements, bug fixes and new features of Android Nougat such as split-screen mode, better notifications, Doze mode, battery life improvement and more.

The ZUK Z2 features a 5-inch IPS full HD display, coming with the Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Inside is powered by the strong Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core Soc, packed with 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, the phone sports a 13MP main snapper with f2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, LED flash, and an 8 MP camera with f1.8 on the front for selfies. A 3500 mAh capacity battery with fast charging would keep the lights on.

While the ZUK Z2 Pro comes with the slightly bigger screen size, with a 5.2 inch IPS fullHD display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 still powers the phone but the chipset is packed with two variants: 4 GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage or 6GB and 128 onboard memory. About the camera, the ZUK Z2 Pro features a 13 MP primary snapper, with f/1.8, OIS, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and also an 8MP camera on the front. A Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery would remain all features. Both the phones supports the modernist connectivity features including 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS/ A-GPS and  a finger scanner embedded in the physical Home button.
