The Lenovo’s flagship smartphone last year, Z2 Plus, has received a discount in India today, bringing its price down up to Rs.3000. Besides, Lenovo also announced that its smartphone would now be available on Flipkart as well. Initially it was as an Amazon-exclusive in the Indian market.
After the price down, the Lenovo Z2 Plus is now just at Rs.14,999. for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage variant, while the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory has received a Rs.2,500 discount, which brings its price down to Rs.17.499. But the 4GB RAM variant will only be sold via physical retail stores in the country, while the 3GB RAM variant will be available via Amazon and Flipkart.
The Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch LTPS Full HD display with 2.5D glass on top. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC inside clocked at 2.15 GHz, with the Adreno 530 GPU for handling graphic. At the back of Lenovo Z2 Plus is equipped with a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus tech, EIS, CAF dual-mode focus, and an f/2.2 5P lens. On the front offers an 8MP snapper, featuring 1.4 micron sized pixels and an f/2.0 aperture lens for taking nice selfie shots.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Z2 Plus offers 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, Dual SIM card slots, USB and Type-C port. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the front of the handset, embedded inside the home button. A 3500mAh capacity battery inside supporting the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 standard will remain all features of the handset. The Lenovo Z2 Plus now runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, but an update to Android 7.0 Nougat will be rolled out in the near future, but the company hasn’t confirmed the exact time yet.
