A new leak out of China showed out the Meizu’s unannounced handset, the Meizu 5S has definitely been making many appearances lately. A TENAA listing, benchmark results and a couple of official shots of Meizu M5S all have been leaked.
According to the leaks, Meizu M5S is rumored to feature a 5.2-inch 720p resolution display. The device will come with a unibody design quite similar to other mid-range smartphones of the company. In terms of specs, powering the Meizu M5S will be the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC, which is clocked at 1.3 Ghz. The chipset will be packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which can be expandable via a microSD card slot.
At the back of the Meizu M5S will feature a 13MP camera sensor, with the phase detection autofocus tech, a LED flash and the support for 1080p video recording. The selfie camera’s resolution is 5MP, which is expected to bring acceptable selfie shots. There will be a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the physical Home button at the front. Other connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, and Micro USB 2.0 are also included. A 2930mAh battery will power all features of the device. The upcoming Meizu’s smartphone will run on the latest Flyme interface based Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow when out of box with the model number – “M612Q”.
The pricing of the Meizu M5S is expected to be priced at around $150 but this new source puts the estimate at around $220. It is also worth noting, there is another variant with 4GB, and 64GB of inbuilt storage mentioned so that it might be the differences about the price tag.
