After a lot of rumors, LG has finally introduced its two new smart watches collaborated with Google that are Watch Style and Watch Sport. Both smart watches will be pre-installed the Android Wear 2.0 version, and be launching in the US on February 10.
The LG Watch Style will be smaller and cheaper version as it just sports a 1.2-inch 360×360 resolution circular P-OLED screen with ambient light sensor, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity. The Watch Style can be put in the basic smart watch class, which is more suitable with the less demanding user. The device runs on the Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, packed with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. The 240mAh battery with wirelessly charge tech will keep the Watch working. The Watch Style is design with a stainless steel body with leather straps and has IP67 water-resistance. The smartwatch might cost at $249 for titanium and silver color options, and $279 for the rose gold.
LG also launched Watch Sport in that event, which comes with all the bells and whistles. The device features a 1.38-inch 480×480 resolution P-OLED screen, with Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, 768MB RAM, 4GB storage inside, and a bigger 430mAh battery. Also, the Watch Sport is equipped the modernest sensors and connectivity options, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS, NFC, barometer, heart rate monitor, and ambient light sensor. The smartwatch gains IP68 water-resistance standard as well. The Watch Sport will go on sale at $349 in titanium and dark blue color options.
Alongside the Google Store, the Watch Style will appear on Best Buy store while the Watch Sport will be available from AT&T and Verizon with LTE connectivity.
Both will be introduced in other countries outside the US such as Canada, Russia, UK, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, and UAE in the upcoming weeks.
