Today, Intex released a new budget Android smartphone with 4G VoLTE in India. That’s the Aqua Lions 4G, and it is a basic Android phone with the entry-level specifications and will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The pricing of the smartphone will be at Rs.5499 in India and there will be two color options available in Grey and Champagne Gold.

The Aqua Lions 4G smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA 854 x 480p display, which gives a pixel density of 196 PPI. Powering the smartphone is a Spreadtrum SC9832A 1.3 GHz quad-core chipset, packed with 1GB of RAM. There will be 8GB of onboard memory for you to store your data, but you can expand further by up to 64GB via a microSD card. The smartphone features a 5MP primary camera at the back, with an LED flash for taking photos in low-light condition. On the front is a 2MP selfie camera, quite similar to other budget Android smartphones in the same category.

Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and especially 4G LTE with VoLTE support. A 2000mAh capacity battery will power all features of the smartphone. Moreover, Intex includes the Tap & Buy app on the Aqua Lions 4G, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help you for the shopping online.
