Today, the Sprint is announcing that the LG Stylo 3 now goes on sale at its prepaid brands via Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. The Stylo 3 (usually known as Stylus 3 in other markets) was officially introduced in January at CES event this year, and now users can finally grab the device in the US. The LG Stylo 3 features a 5.7-inch HD display. Inside the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 SoC with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. The chipset is packed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expandable via a micro SD card slot. On the back is a 13 MP main camera with f2.2 aperture, autofocus, and a single LED flash; while on the front is an 8MP snapper fro selfies and video calls. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, NFC, and GPS with A-GPS. The Stylo 3 will be powered by a 3,200 mAh removable battery and run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, which is an impressive point in the mid-range smartphone territory. Moreover, the tip of the stylus is now thinner, which allows you to get the better accuracy when using it. Besides running on the Android Nougat OS, other special stylus-specific software features such as Screen-Off Memo, Pop Memo, Capture+, Pop Scanner, QuickMemo+, and Pen Keeper are also included on the smartphone.
The LG Stylo 3 will be available in Metallic Titan and Pink Gold color options, and you can grab a Stylo 3 for yourself from either Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile for the price just at $179.99 plus tax, with no long-term contract signing requirements.
