The Z11 Mini S smartphone, a product of ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia, which was announced at the Chinese market in last October, has been officially launched in India. It has been gone on sale for at a price of Rs.16,999 exclusively on Amazon.
At first glance, this camera-centric mid-tier phone’s name might make you misunderstand as the Mini S usually relates to a small device. But in reality, it features a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD resolution, which is smaller than the 5.5-inch screen on Nubia Z11 previously launched in India in December.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is packed with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. On its back, a 23MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and LED flash has the ability to focus on an item in as little as 0.1 seconds. In addition, there is an extremely impressive 13MP selfie snapper with PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture, and an 80-degree wide-angle lens at the front. There is a fingerprint scanner placed at the back below the rear camera.
Besides, the Nubia Z11 Mini S is remarkable for its aircraft-grade aluminum body. From a design perspective, it looks like an Apple iPhone 7, especially when viewing from the back. A home button on the front is surrounded by a similar accent. The device comes equipped with a 3,000mAh non-removable battery without fast charging support. In terms of software, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow- based on the company’s Nubia UI 4.0 custom layout on top out-of-the-box. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, Hybrid dual SIM slot and 4G LTE support. The Z11 MiniS will be available in Khaki Grey and Moon Gold color options.
