Motorola Moto C and Moto C Plus budget-friendly phones officially launched

Eventually customers can approach Moto C and Moto C Plus after Motorola has officially committed to rolling out two new budget-friendly smartphones. It is estimated that both will soon go on sale this spring in Europe, Latin America and Asia. In North America, the firm still has no confirmation of launch date for these two phones.

The Moto C will come with some basic features, including a 5 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing camera and a 2,350 mAh battery, according to Motorola. Besides, it offers you with 4 color options such as cherry, white, gold and black. It is also said that the Moto C will feature a 5-inch 854 x 480 display and ship Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. As to a 3G version, the phone supports 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB storage for €89; while the 4G version will be priced at €99. In addition, the 3G version just owns a 32-bit quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz; whereas, the 4G version has have a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core chipset clocked at 1.1 GHz.

Regarding the Moto C Plus, it will be equipped with an 8 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing camera and dual SIM slots. Its storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot. Similar to the Moto C, this phone will be available for 4 colors including cherry, white, gold, and black. However, what makes you more impressed is its big 4,000 mAh battery, so it can be continuously active during 30 hours on a single charge. In terms of other specs, it features a 5-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz.

The price of the Moto C Plus is planned to start at €119, as to the version supporting 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Nonetheless, Motorola still keeps secret about the price of the version with 2 GB of RAM.

If the recently leaked information is true, we can come into a conclusion that at least a few new smartphones in five different families are being launched by Motorola this year. In terms of hardware and price, it is certain that the Moto C and C Plus will be the lowest rung among those phones. Lastly, there is a rumor that the firm also has a plan to reenter the tablet market in 2017.
